How Do I Apply?

The funding process is straight forward, with no charge for unsuccessful loan applications.

You and your lawyer need to complete the printed version of the application form. Your lawyer will then see to the application submission.

What Do I Need To Qualify?

All that is required for personal injury loans is for your lawyer to be an accredited member of our panel of solicitor firms. If your lawyer isn’t accredited with Legal Funding Australia, then ask them to apply directly to Legal Funding Australia for accreditation.

How Long Does it Take?

Upon the receipt of a correctly executed loan application, your loan application will be processed within two business days, along with funds to your solicitor’s trust account. Your solicitor will notify your loan approval status.

Can I partially draw down my loan?

Clients are able to make progress draws to the total value of their loan, provided each request is for a minimum of $1000.

How Do I Repay My Loan?

You do not need to make any repayments on your loan until the matter has settled. Settlement proceeds are paid directly into your lawyers trust account and from there your lawyer will contact us to arrange repayment of your loan.

Is Legal Funds Australia properly licenced?

Legal Funding Australia holds an Australian Credit Licence pursuant to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act and is a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL).
